From My Family to Yours: Why Play Academy Was Never Meant to Be Done Alone
From My Family to Yours:
Why Play Academy Was Never Meant to Be Done Alone
This past week, I’ve shared pieces of my heart, my family, bits of my motherhood journey, and the “why” behind Play Academy.
Every story had one common thread: Children thrive best when they are deeply known, supported, and loved.
And as much as this vision began with me, I always knew it couldn’t stay that way.
Baby Got Bright Play Academy was never meant to be built around one person.
It was meant to be built around shared values, trusted hands, and educators who see children not as a checklist, but as whole humans.
As a mom, I understand how vulnerable it feels to entrust your child to someone else. You’re not just choosing a program; you’re choosing who will help shape your child’s early experiences, their confidence, and their sense of safety in the world.
That’s why finding the right educator mattered more to me than filling a role.
I was looking for someone who believes, as I do, that learning begins with emotional safety. Someone who understands that play isn’t extra — it’s essential. Someone who meets children where they are, without rushing them to be more than they’re ready to be.
And I know I have found that in our teacher.
In the coming days, I’ll be introducing you to the educator who will be guiding our little ones with patience, intention, and heart.
While her story is hers to tell, I can tell you this: our values align deeply.
We believe in predictable routines, calm classrooms, hands-on learning, and strong partnerships with families.
This is the point where my personal “why” and Baby Got Bright Play Academy’s mission come together.
Because this space isn’t just an extension of my family — it’s a place where your child’s story becomes just as important.
Tomorrow, I can’t wait to introduce you to the teacher who will help bring this vision to life.
Stick around for so many more memories & adventures!
